Mikael H. Snaprud was born in Oslo, Norway. He received a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, from the University of Luleå in Sweden, 1986. He completed his doctoral thesis in 1995, on knowledge based systems at the University of technology, Vienna, Austria. Since 2000 he is employed as associate professor in ICT at the University of Agder where he is working on research related to research on Webmining applications for Accessibility and Usability.
