This workshop will take place in Brussels, February 17th and is an initiative of the European Commission. It aims to encourage the sharing of good practice in the area of SOA.
Service Oriented Architecture is slowly being adopted by public administration. Such an architecture can facilitate interoperability between administration and change the delivery method. But this architecture could be pushed toward the extreme minimalism leading to the creation of a very modular architecture, creating new business opportunities.
Relevant topics to be discussed, but not limited to are:
Action research, case studies, research-in-progress, and pilot programs are welcomed approaches. Proposals for roundtable discussions, practitioner contributions, and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited.
