Scientific Officer at the European Commission - Joint Research Centre (JRC), Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS).
I work on dossiers related to eID: economics, architecture of eID, legal and policy aspects, and and citizen understanding (risk, privacy, trust confidence).
See the repository of eID links at http://delicious.com/eidteam/.
I also work on Social Computing and on eParticipation: user engagement, governance, policy modelling potential.
Previously, I was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester (UK). Over ten years I worked on projects regarding citizen participation, online elections, political representation and governance. At Chester, I am now a Honorary Research Fellow there. I have a strong grounding in research methodologies, quantitative and qualitative.
