Senior Scientist at the European Commission - Joint Research Centre (JRC), Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS). I work on dossiers related to eID and personal inforamtion: economics, architecture of eID, legal and policy aspects, and user perceptions and behaviours (risk, privacy, trust, confidence). I also work on issues associated with social networking in enterprises, on Social Computing in general and on eParticipation.
Previously, I was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester (UK). Over ten years I worked on projects regarding citizen participation, online elections, political representation and governance. I have a strong grounding in research methodologies, quantitative and qualitative.
