Elina Jokisalo has an academic Master of Arts degree in Information Studies (University of Oulu, Finland) and her earlier working experience includes among others project assistance at HR and financial departments (Raflatac, Finland/Spain) and customer service at informatics helpdesk (Sellbytel, Spain).
Elina Jokisalo develops promotion, communication, marketing and networking activities for the on-line environments and projects. She is project manager of elearningeuropa.info portal since 2005 (European Commission, DG EAC) and also develops promotion, networking and publishing functions including the the multilanguage online publication "eLearning Papers". She is in charge of communication and webmaster activities for Learnovation project (European Commission, DG EAC) (2007-). She is also working on the European eGovernment Awards (2007 and 2009) (European Commission, DG INFSO). She also was the editorial team coordinator of the European Journal of ePractice from 2007 to 2009 and involved in the development and promotion of the ePractice.eu portal (European Commission, DG INFSO) from 2007 to 2009.
