Alejandra Salmerón Ntutumu is MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the university of Cartagena in 2005. Moreover she got her master degree in multimedia and communications from the university Carlos III of Madrid and university Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid in 2008. She is currently pursuing her PhD degree at University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid related to Information and communication Technologies and services applied for emerging areas. Her research interests include ICT and services for development (ICT4D) and ICT for accessibility (eaccessibility).
At present, she is Technical Coordinator of the ATIS4all thematic network (www.atis4all.eu) for enterprise Fundosa Technosite (http://www.technosite.es/ - ONCE Foundation).
Besides, she was project consultant and researcher in the Experimental Center for Wireless Communications (CECI - "Centro Experimental de Comunicaciones Inalámbricas" in spanish) focused on ICT for development in health and education, working side by side with different national and international entities.
