Postgraduate as Specialist in New Technologies for Social Analysis after two B.Sc. degrees in Sociology and Market Research I focused my interest on statistics, social investigation methods, multivariable analysis, software for Social Analysis and web based research
I worked as statistical consultant and researcher for private firms and universities; since 2002 I’ve been working in the Valencian Office for the Information Society (Ovsi Foundation) in Alicante (Spain), and currently I’m developing my professional activities as a ICT researcher of Cevalsi, part of OVSI Foundation, collaborating with other organisations and working on projects at regional, national and european level.
I actually coordinate projects in Cevalsi, the Information Society Observatory in the region of Valencia (Spain) and focus my activities on observing, analyzing, evaluating and offering information about the technological society in the Valencian region. This activity is translated in the elaboration of Infobarometers at three levels: social (citizens & households), business and government; as well as on several ICT projects, at national and international level, devoted to the measurement of ICTs’ impact on society and government, in collaboration with other Spanish and European regions.
