Sabarish Karunakaran, Mission Co-ordinator, Kerala State IT Mission
Mr. Sabarish.K is a practitioner of e-Government, m-Government & e/mHealth in India, and is holding the post of Mission Coordinator at Kerala State IT Mission, the Apex body responsible for all the ICT projects in Kerala. Mr. Sabarish brings with him a rich experience of over 12 years in the e-gov domain and specialises in IT and ITES solutions for improving citizen centric service delivery. He is an active proponent of FOSS and its application in the ICT4D sector. He was instrumental in providing technical leadership for successful implementation of many large e-Government projects in the state of Kerala, like end to end computerisation of Kerala Public Service Commission, the largest Govt recruitment agency in India, E-enabling Kerala State Science and Technology Council. At IT Mission he is providing techno-magerial leadership in implementation of innovative projects like Mobile Governance, Enforcement Automation,  and is also responsible for the state specific Mission Mode Projects under the National E-governace Plan, like National Portal, SSDG and is involved in the ICT policy formulation. He holds post-graduate degrees in Computer Application and Management.
