The about eighty members of Sambruk, a Swedish association of municipalities jointly developing electronic services, are debating if and how to use Open Source for their IT projects. The group started a research and development project to garner support for Open Source in the public sector.
OSOR.EU - the site devoted to the re-use, sharing and collaborative development of eGovernment applications for European public administrations - has been officially launched at the Open Source World Conference in Malaga, Spain, on 20 October 2008.
