The Portuguese High Commissioner for Health (Alto Comissariado da Saúde - ACS, in Portuguese) has reorganised the microsite of the National Health Plan 2011-2016 with the purpose of making it more appealing and easier to navigate for interested citizens. 

The High Commissioner expects the new structure to facilitate the citizens' access to the site's content and to encourage their participation in the plan's drafting process.

The microsite was launched in March 2010 to make the elaboration process of the plan more transparent, participatory and accessible to all citizens; it provides access to studies, national and international analysis and documents placed under public consultation/discussion.

It is worth adding that the microsite is core to the communication strategy on the National Health Plan 2011-2016 and it is linked to several social networks.
