While the conformance process is still underway, 1Â 000 users have been registered at the Semantic Interoperability Centre Europe (SEMIC.EU).
More than 1Â 000 experts of the semantic interoperability and eGovernment fields are now collaborating via SEMIC.EU to develop a pan-European exchange format for data on natural persons, which should conform to all the criteria defined in the Clearing Process Framework.
With more than 80 partner projects, partner initiatives and a repository of several hundred of interoperability assets, the increasing user base is one of the crucial success factors for the single point of contact in European eGovernment interoperability framework. Active collaboration through the repository depends on acceptance, an active user base and relevant use cases.
With the current maturity process for the European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR), the conformance process for the person model as well as new domain communities, the reuse of existing interoperability assets is given a strong move forwards.
New SEMIC.EU members can register here.
