The next Hungarian parliamentary elections will be taking place in April 2010. The National Election Committee (NEC) published on 16 February 2010 all documents related to the elections on its website. The site's visitors can also fill out online forms for related procedures.

The NEC's homepage now features all the official documents (laws, regulations and deadlines) of the parliamentary elections that are held every four years. The homepage presents new content through the same structure as that used during the previous elections.

Users can also find a calendar summarising all the important dates regarding the elections.

Moreover, important information on the Committee, its decisions and announcements as well as the list of the parties registered with it are placed at the disposal of the users of the website.

In case citizens wish to vote elsewhere than their community, they can ask for a certificate by completing an electronic form. If voting abroad, they can also make an online request to be entered in the foreign missions' name registries.

Last but not least, party representatives can find information on the website on how to register in order to run for the election, as well as downloadable forms in order to take part.  Parties may furthermore find details on the electoral campaigns and on the election of the Committee members, who determine the final date of the elections.
