The Drainage Consortium of Piacenza has recently launched its new portal allowing consortium members and citizens to access updated information on the consortium activities.

The Consortium carries out functions and tasks aimed at the protection of the soil, at the balance of territorial development, the protection and enhancement of agricultural production and natural assets, with special reference to water resources and their use.

The main goal of the portal in question is the transparency of the consortium activities and the provision both to citizens and to consortium members of updated and real-time information on its main drainage initiatives. To this extent, as explained by the Consortium president, Mr Fausto Zermani, the portal has been provided with a pleasant lay-out and is easy to access even by persons having less experience with interactive online tools.

The portal offers also a wide range of online services for the consortium members, such as the possibility to transfer charges, to pay contributions, to have detailed land registry information and to modify data.
