The portal 'My.belgium.be' was officially launched in September 2009. It provides registered users with a direct, easy, secure and round the clock online access to their personal files and to many Federal Government services.

Registration has to be performed by means of the Belgian eID card, using an eID card reader. A one time registration is required for users to access their personal data.

Users need to use their eID and enter their PIN code to perform all online transactions and to reach the following services:

  • Checking date on their national register file;
  • Private search for their company or organisation's data
  • Tax return submission;
  • eServices provided by the Department of Finance;
  • Police-on-Web application (e.g. declaration to the police in case of theft);
  • Online purchase of public transportation tickets;
  • eHealth applications for health companies, professionals and institutions.

The number of services available through My.belgium.be will be expanded soon.
