The presentations of the expert workshop “Procuring for health benefits: Critical factors for beneficial deployment of innovative eHealth and telemedicine services†have been made available online.
The workshop has been organised by the European Commission on 6 November 2008 within the framework of World of Health IT 08 Conference & Exhibition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 4-6 November 2008.
The workshop’s objectives were to identify and share valuable recommendations for beneficial deployment of larger scale (e.g. regional scale) eHealth and telemedicine services.
The stakeholders first shared their experience in the field. An open discussion on "Strategic decision making and the role of procurement" took place afterwards among the panelists.
