Description (short summary):
The Action Plan is a key element of the new framework agreement on eGovernment cooperation in Switzerland 2007-2015, aiming at boosting the implementation of the Strategy. The action plan lays down the short-, medium-and long-term actions in the frame of several priority projects. These are supported from financial contributions of CHF2.4 million (approx. €2 million) in total per year, provided jointly by the Swiss Confederation and the cantons. The Action Plan will be annually reviewed and updated by the eGovernment Switzerland Steering Committee. It also decides about the allocation of resources.

The Action Plan will contribute significantly towards achieving the following objectives:

• Provide high-impact flagship services for business, government and citizens, i.e. basic services for the implementation of the strategy, with a broad coverage of all target groups;
• Establish basic conditions of organisational, legal and/or technical nature, required to provide the high-impact services mentioned about.
