eGovernment Switzerland - Facts & Figures on the status of the Strategy Implementation 2010 / I

Description (short summary):
eGovernment Switzerland is the joint programme of the Confederation, the cantons and the municipalities to make administrative tasks as citizen-friendly and cost-effective as possible through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

The core elements of the strategy implementation are concrete services and prerequisites listed in the Catalogue of Prioritised Projects. The Project leader organisations are responsible for a coordinated implementation.

The data on the implementation status of the Prioritised Projects are gathered every 6 months using a direct survey of the Project leader organisations. The figures concerning participation by cantons and municipalities, the perspective of the target groups and the international comparison of the status are generated yearly using internal and external studies.
