Description (short summary):
This document aims to bring to the attention of the public the strategic lines proposed by the non-profit scientific Spanish Society of Health Informatics ('Sociedad Española de Informática de la Salud' in Spanish) to promote the development of ICT for health in Spain, taking into account the specific characteristics of the National Health System, the participation in the building of a European eHealth space and the global dimension of the society of today.
