Complete title:
A renewing, human-centric and competitive Finland The National Knowledge Society Strategy 2007–2015

Description (short summary):
During 2006, the National Knowledge Society Strategy for 2007-2015 was drafted as part of the implementation of Finnish Government’s Information Society Programme.

The National Knowledge Society Strategy 2007-2015 aims to support the emergence of a ‘Finland phenomenon’ – in other words, to turn Finland into an internationally attractive, humane and competitive service society by the year 2015. In order to achieve this vision, the strategy focuses on four priority-specific strategic intents and aims, and proposes 72 related measures, including possible responsible parties. Particular importance is given to measures aimed at promoting the reform of the service sector, citizens' well-being and the nation's and companies' competitiveness.
