Description (short summary):
The report provides results on the advancement indicators of the knowledge society generated as part of the EUFORIA project. The EUFORIA project was commissioned by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) in the context of its four-year research programme, ‘Analysing and anticipating change to support socio-economic progress 2001-2004’.

The results provided are those of the Member States of the former EU-15. They are enhanced where possible by data from the previously acceding and candidate countries, as well as from the United States and Japan.
