Swiss eGovernment Forum 2013 part of the InfoSocietyDays
First day’s theme will be on ‘Innovation in the public administration - Better. Faster. More efficient’: The quality and management of online services play an increasingly important role, both for citizens and the economy. Meanwhile, public administration has limited financial and human resources. To ensure that the supply of management keeps up with this development, innovation is required. How the administration can recognise whether something is truly innovative? What is the difference between an ‘innovative’ administration as opposed to ‘traditional’ administration? This forum’s presentations will try to answer all these issues and outline any possible solutions.
Second day’s theme is about the ‘Electronic process in public administration - Transparent. Traceable. Compliance with law’. Electronic processes and information constitute the basis for an increasingly complex cooperation and interaction between different actors of eGovernment. With these actors, the processes become efficient, transparent and accountable; the control of the process is feasible and the management of files complies with the law. In addition, the information is always available. What are the trends? What is feasible? Are they any limits? Second day’s presentations are primarily directed to cities and municipalities that will try to give answers and solutions to these issues.
Detailed information about the forum’s programme can be found online.
Participation can be performed online with the payment of a fee.
