International eGovernment Cooperation Forum 2012 - 'eGovernment applications and services'
According to the 9th eGovernment benchmarking report by the European Commission, Austrian public administrators offer 100 % of the '20 basic public services' online. Over 75 % of Austrian companies already use eGovernment services regularly, and an increasing number of citizens are now electronic customers.
Austria has proven to be the leading nation in the eGovernment sector in Europe. The integration of all citizens, data protection management and customer orientation are top priority. Austrian public administrators and service providers have a wealth of experience in designing, developing, implementing and operating successful eGovernment projects.
This event is an opportunity to meet Austria's providers and get access to extensive technological expertise and new business channels. Participants can present their services/business/technologies and call the attention of numerous potential cooperation partners on the occasion of bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings. Such meetings can be booked ahead of the event and participants can choose their interlocutors based on their profile, their size and the type of cooperation they are looking for, via an online tool, at http://www.b2match.eu/egovernment2012/search.
During the previous edition of the event, Cooperation Forum on eGovernment 2010, participants discussed potential cooperation opportunities in more than 200 Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings.
This year's edition agenda may be found here (last update: 16 December 2011).
Registration is mandatory and it can be performed online by 15 January 2012 along with the submission of one's cooperation profile.
