Description

Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) through Identity & Access Management (IAM)

The goal of this event is to focus on the increasing regulatory pressures that Governance, Risk Management and Compliance are bringing to business. IAM and GRC are two of today's most important IT market segments. As regulatory pressures become more demanding, so does the ability to meet these demands. The expected changes related to market growth and maturity and some of the newer technology sectors gaining momentum will be examined.

GRC has brought new purpose to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) market. IAM and related solutions such as authorisation/authentication (role access) management, security incident event management, and reporting are now an integral part of the infrastructure that organisations need to address in an increasingly regulated world.

Healthcare, finance, and government are sectors in which such architecture is needed to deliver managed and transparent security. However, the challenge today is to address these overarching issues in a cost effective way, delivering results in the areas that matter most to the individual organisation.
