'Specific eGovernment solutions for better business environment' Session at 8th South East European ICT Associations (SEEITA) - 7th South East European (SEE) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Forum Meeting & 7th Macedonian Chamber of Information and Communication Technology (MASIT) Open Days Conference

The objective of the 'Specific eGovernment Solutions for better business environment' session is to acquire a general insight into eGovernment projects for improving business environment on pan-European, regional and national level, focusing on the case of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and the specific software solutions that have been implemented. The organisers will present their vision of the development of eGovernment solutions, inviting the audience to participate in the discussion.

The target audience will comprise decision and policy makers from public institutions on regional, national and local level, representatives from financial regulation organisations, governmental and civil sector, as well as ICT professionals.

The session outline is as follows:

  • High representative of Government of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (TBC) - expectations for improvement of the business environment
  • Business Environment specialist (TBC) - 'Measured effects of specific eServices for the business according to the World Bank Doing Business report'
  • Mr. Axel Forstmann - High Court of North Rhine-Westphalia - 'Pan-European Initiatives in business registration'
  • Mr. Zvonko Obradovic, Serbian Business Register Agency - 'Serbian experiences and potential for regional business registration infrastructures'
  • Mr. Zoran Aleksov, Mayor of city of Shtip - 'The pressing need for eServices offered to the citizens and businesses on local level'
  • Re-aktiv - 'Specific eGovernment solutions for improving the business environment'
