European e-Identity Management Conference 2010

The European e-Identity Management Conference aims to be Europe's leading forum for this critical security application - tackling the key issues surrounding eIdentity as a core enabler of today's personal, business and government processes.

The 2010 edition of the conference will comprise keynotes, panel discussions, roundtable sessions and focused workshops on the key challenges and strategies for effectively managing Government, employee, citizen and private identities.

Key subject areas for the 2010 Conference include: Managing Identity; Securing Identity; Federated Identity; eID Cards; Service Oriented Architecture SOA; Mobile eID.

Sessions will cover:

  • What are the advantages and shortcomings of the different models of eIdentity management?
  • What are the main components of a secure eID management system?
  • How do you solve the challenges of provisioning and de-provisioning?
  • What are the challenges of federated eID management?
  • What new technologies are on the horizon for eID? i.e. Mobile or Cloud
  • How do you ensure interoperability of eID cards?
  • How can you measure the effectiveness of your identity and access management (IAM) implementation?
  • What legal parameters must you consider in implementing eID systems?
  • How do you balance the need for ID management and compliance with data protection law?

The OASIS track will be dedicated to the theme 'Identity and the "Web of Complexity"'. More information on this track may be found at the event website along with the conference programme.

Over 150 senior delegates from the commercial and public sectors throughout Europe and beyond are expected to take part.

Registration to this open-to-all event can be performed online. Registration requires the payment of a fee.
