Description

European Ambient Assisted Living Innovation Alliance (AALIANCE) conference on Technology and Innovation for Ageing Well in Europe

The conference will present the most important findings of the AALIANCE project, i.e. the updated Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) research roadmap, the AAL strategic research agenda and an overview of the status of standardisation in the AAL domain.

Moreover, it will be an actual showcase of the complete AAL value creation chain. 30 papers - selected from the response to the call for papers - will present AAL technologies, AAL system architectures and AAL applications. The perspective of the user dimension as well as the importance of standards and interoperability will be covered. Finally, economic scenarios and business cases will be presented and discussed.

The conference aims to widely disseminate and reflect these significant results with a broad audience of AAL stakeholders which will be used to determine necessary further directions of AAL.

Detailed information about the programme of the conference can be found here.

Attendance is free-of-charge but registration is required due to limited spaces and it can be performed online.
