Description

International Expert Workshop - European Research and Technological Development (RTD) in the field of ICT & Ageing: Lessons learned and issues for the future

This event is being organised within the framework of the ICT & Ageing: European Study on Users, Markets & Technologies. The primary aim is to identify existing market barriers that hinder uptake of technologies for independent living and identify recommendations for action in order to address the elderly's needs and market potentials. It will furthermore aim at identifying RTD achievements in relation to the Action Plan on Information and Communications Technology for Ageing Well; and at examining what issues deserve particular attention in further work programmes.

The agenda of the event can be viewed online.

The event is open and free of charge. A key requirement for participation is however that participants are prepared to make an active contribution; they are requested to fill in a questionnaire in preparation of the workshop.
