Description

Consultation Workshop on ICT for Governance & Policy

During the half-day event ideas will be discussed with representatives from the European Commission. Participants will deepen in the insight and understanding on the new research area set out in the Objective 7.3 of the new ICT Work Programme for 2009-2010 in the 7th Framework Programme for R&D.

In order to facilitate the discussions, abstracts of maximum 1 page are called for. The abstracts should summarise one's ideas on the topic and may include scenarios on the possible application of the technologies described in Objective 7.3 in the domain of Governance & Public Services.

The Consultation Workshop will follow the Workshop organised at the same venue by the Information and Communication Department of the Hellenic Technical Chamber (e-TEE) titled “e-Governement for Transparency and Democracy”. Participation to the event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required by sending an email to Yannis Charalabidis or Costis Christogiannis. Due to logistic constraints participation is limited to 50 persons. Early registration is therefore recommended.
