Citizen ID Forum 2009 The Citizen ID Forum is an international event dedicated to secure ID documents. It discusses the progressive digitalization of Passports, National IDs, Driver’s Licences, Health Cards, Visas and ‘Green Cards’, as well as the future of Smart Tickets and Payment Systems. The Citizen ID Forum follows the ID WORLD International Congress, the annual world summit on automatic identification.

The Forum will open its doors under the patronage of the Minister of Interior of the UAE, H.H. Sheik bin Zayed al Nahyan. The Citizen ID Forum goes live with two cornerstone initiatives - the Conference and the Exhibition. The two-day conference and exhibition will welcome the key players behind the success of citizen ID programs and secure ID projects including high-level government representatives, border control and law enforcement authorities.

The event will provide a snapshot of the status of deployments on a global scale and illustrate the drivers behind the digitalization of citizen ID documents.
