Innovation and Technology in the Public Administrations of Spain’s Castile and León region

Attendees will be able to gain first-hand knowledge of those good, innovative practices and projects developed by different government levels in the public sector of Spain’s Castile and León region.

This event aims to be a forum where stakeholders from the sector of new technologies can exchange their experiences in order to learn from the best practices of authorities and companies.

The following issues will be addressed:

• To provide a vision of the current situation and trends of innovation in the public sector in Castile and León;
• To bring tthe different agents together in order to be able to exchange experiences and contrast actual needs with the existing products and systems;
• To identify administrations and companies’ needs in order to promote innovation through the public sector;
• To create a good practices database online in the region.

There will be speakers from:

• Regional Governmentes: Castile and León Government and Basque Parliament;
• Local Councils: Getafe, Segovia and Bristol (UK);
• Provincial governments of Soria and Burgos;
• Institutions: ANEI, CyL Municipalities and Provinces Federation, Segovia Chambre of Commerce, Circle of Arts and Technology (Segovia Council) and Centro Internacional de Tecnologías Avanzadas para el Medio Rural (Salamanca);
• The private sector.
