Description

Special Track “eGovernment and eParticipation at the crossroad: how social software, SOAs and semantic technologies transform the citizen-state interaction” This special track is organised within the context of the third IEEE International Conference on Digital Information Management (ICDIM 2008).

It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from different subject areas including enterprise architectures, interoperability, semantic web, semantic web services, social software, and foster discussions about ongoing research and experience in the domain of eGovernment and eParticipation.

Selected papers from this track will be considered for publication in IEEE Intelligent Systems, Special Issue on Transforming E-government and E-participation.

Papers, which should be formatted according to the IEEE template, are to be submitted electronically by 1 July 2008 to the track chair at vassilios.peristeras@deri.org.

Participation is free-of-charge. The information pertaining to the registration is soon to be available at the conference website.
