UBL International – Symposium and courses
UBL International 2007 will take place in Madrid, Spain the week of October 1-5, 2007. The inaugural event was held in 2006 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event is organised by Atenea Interactiva in cooperation with the UBL Spanish Localisation Subcommittee, Invinet Sistemes (Spain), Eurobits (Spain), Crane Softwrights Ltd. (Canada).
UBL International is a training summit bringing together worldwide Universal Business Language (UBL) experts to deliver a full day of free symposium presentations on 4 October. After an introduction to the OASIS UBL, the event will feature a wide range of sessions, including:
- The integration of Business processes with UBL 2.0;
- CODICE – Documents and components for eProcurement;
- The role of Financial Institutions in the development of UBL and B2B standards;
- Connecting SMEs and governments using UBL documents in standard ERP solutions;
- Electronic invoice adoption through government sponsoring;
- Electronic invoice and Certificated Digitalization way to paperless order management.
Attendance to the Symposium is free based on the "first come, first served" rule as it is limited by available sponsorship. After the free attendance has been exhausted, the charge for the Symposium day will be €100 per attendee. The registration form can be submitted online at the event website.
The remaining days (1 to 3 and 5 Ocotber) will feature full-day and half-day lectures and hands-on courses from commercial training companies on Practical Universal Business Language Deployment. Online registration to the courses is possible, and costs vary from €400 + 16 % VAT to €500 per lecture.
