International Public Procurement Conference (IPPC)-Public Procurement: Professionalisation and Capacity Building
Driven by demand for further control over public spending, public procurement has become a key function of government. Significant technological changes, international trade and global competition have forced governments and public institutions to extend policy interests beyond cost minimisation, and to pursue new challenges including innovation, competition, transparency and reforms. Further, policy makers have used public procurement as an effective policy tool.
This conference is a global network of public procurement practitioners and researchers which aims to advance and share knowledge and best practices in public procurement.
Registration for the event is available online.
