Description

12th European IHE Connectathon - 'Interoperability at its best'

The main purpose of this event is to host the traditional phase of annual testing of the interoperability of the health information systems of the participating companies, following the specifications published by Integrating the Health Enterprise (IHE).

During the Connectathon week, the participating companies will verify the interoperability between systems by putting them to the test through specific sessions, supervised by "monitors".

Besides the testing event, the Connectathon will host an eHealth day conference on 24 May 2012, as well as a series of parallel events consisting of daily meetings/seminars on specific healthcare themes, with contents and organisation managed by various international bodies.

During the Connectathon week, IHE-Europe will also organise a Social Event, generally an evening, conceived for the participants to spend time together outside working hours.
