HBMeU 2012 Annual - 4th eHealth and Environment Conference in the Middle East - Building an Innovative and Competitive Vision for e-Health and Environment

The conference will provide an international platform to the participants to exchange and share their expertise and knowledge in addressing the challenges that are relevant to the excellence of eHealth and related environmental issues globally and locally.

The following themes are suggested in the call for papers:

Environmental Related Issues:

  • Environmental awareness for economic competitiveness
  • Updates on biomedical waste management
  • Innovative techniques to combat desertification and water problems
  • Progressing with meeting and enforcing auto emission standards
  • Environmental standards and competitiveness of key economic sectors

eHealth Related Issues:

  • Enhance competitiveness of healthcare sector through eHealth solutions
  • Information infrastructure to improve health and environment
  • eLearning and competitiveness in the healthcare market
  • Caring for the eCommunity
  • Need for eHealth governance to enhance competitiveness
  • Responsiveness to patient needs for market competitiveness

The conference aims to gather:

  • Leaders and decision makers dealing with Health and Environmental issues
  • Representatives from Ministry of Health, Environment and Water Resources
  • Senior healthcare executives, Environmental policy makers, Healthcare professionals
  • Representatives from Non-Governmental Organisations interested in environmental issues
