Open Camp Sofia 2011

Open Camp 2011 will offer a forum for lectures and free discussions on topics such as
Open Web, Open Government, Open Knowledge, Open source and Free Software.

Participants that are supporters of the freedom and open understanding of free software and open source software, of transparency in governance and real democracy can find more details about the event's preliminary agenda and speakers on the event website.

The current speaker list includes:

  • Delian Delchev, speaking about 'Decentralized Infrastructure for Wikileaks and other sites without the need for hosting providers and hardware servers',
  • Jan Wildeboer, with a session on 'Decentralisation of Federated services and how the public can acquire them, possible problems and solutions solutions developed',
  • Konstantin Pavlov, discussing about 'Improving the quality of Governance through public monitoring with online tools'.
