ICT INNOVATIONS: Research -> Business -> Society, Join, Share and Improve ICT Technology Transfer in Europe

The FITT conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) technology transfer lies in the general the scope of Europe 2010, Innovation Union and Digital Agenda.

Participants will have the  opportunity to meet European stakeholders involved in ICT research, technology transfer and innovation policy and share their experience and knowledge in order to jointly improve the transfer of Europe's excellent ICT research results into marketable business opportunities.Moreover they will exchange information with transfer experts, researchers and entrepreneurs, get to know the achievements of the Fostering Interregional Exchange in ICT Technology Transfer (FITT) project and take part in two panels:

Panel I: From Ideas to Products: The Business Model Challenge

  • How to create successful and sustainable business models from ICT innovations?
  • What are the bottlenecks that stop innovative ideas from reaching the market?

Panel II: How FITT is Europe for the Innovation Challenge?

  • What is needed to turn the Innovation Union into reality?
  • What is missing for making Europe a more rewarding place for innovation and for unleashing the Digital Revolution?

Finally, a panel discussion gathering policy, research and business experts around one table as well as an evening event including a dinner buffet and the opportunity to exchange and network in a relaxed atmosphere, will take place.
