4th Secure idenTity acrOss boRders linKed (STORK) Industry Group Meeting

The purpose of the upcoming meeting is to promote STORK solution and results so far to Industry stakeholders and inform them how they can utilise STORK solution. This meeting will give the opportunity to STORK experts to share their knowledge with industry and business stakeholders and promote STORK's sustainability.

The STORK Industry Group Meeting will be opened and moderated by Vasilis Koulolias, Executive Director, Gov2u. Following the welcome address, Frank Leyman, Manager at FeDICT (Federal Public Service for Information Technology and Communication) will present a short status report of the six live STORK pilots - Cross border Authentication for Electronic Services, SaferChat, Student Mobility, Electronic Delivery, Change of Address and the European Commission Authentication Service - updating the audience on the progress of STORK's interoperable infrastructure, which paves the way for new solutions so that citizens and business individuals can conduct eGovernment services in a secure, privacy-respecting and trustworthy way.

The meeting will emphasise on key issues as the following:

  • Status report of STORK - Update on the progress of STORK's interoperable infrastructure;
  • Benefits that STORK can offer as an innovation in the field of eGovernment across Europe;
  • Examples of possible ways that industry can take up STORK results and make a business case.
