Electronic Health Records Summit - 'Going Digital in the Age of Reform: Transforming Healthcare Challenges into "Meaningful" Opportunities'
While US hospitals and clinics have been gradually transitioning in the digital era of medical data, also known as Electronic Health Records (EHR), the government has also begun to take measures in further accelerating this change. With $19 billion (approx. €15.9 billion) in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Stimulus package as the first stage, healthcare facilities need to keep up with the federal standards. Â
2011 is rapidly approaching, so hospitals need to learn from successful peers in order to ensure that their investments are a) "meaningful" and b) meet the 10 % implementation threshold by 2011.Â
Attendees of the Electronic Health Records Summit will hear about the best-in-class and next-in-class strategies to today's most pressing issues around selection, deployment and management of EHR systems. The respective agendas of day 1 and day 2 have been made available.Â
The event will feature a series of interactive workshops dedicated to, respectively:Â
- Selecting the Right EHR Partner
- Change for the Life of Your Project: Customizing a Sustainable Strategy for Stakeholder Buy-in, Employee Engagement & Workflow Management
- Successful vs. Unsuccessful EHR Implementations: A Tale of Two EndingsÂ
Registration can be performed online. It requires the payment of a fee. Â
