Description

12th Symposium on eHealth Entrepreneurship: 'Is eHealth Entrepreneurship simplistic?'

Entrepreneurship in the field of eHealth is considered to be an important key element in the Health sector. In this regard, the Dutch Association of eHealth (NVEH) launched in the spring of 2009 the Healthguide project that aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in eHealth.

According to the Professor Dr. Hans M. Becker, the Netherlands have all the characteristics to become a leading country in the eHealth field. Four renowned speakers will discuss the opportunities and challenges for the eHealth business from four different perspectives.

Some of the concerns that will be raised during the symposium include:

  • How to create an eHealth ecosystem in which eHealth applications created by patients, health carers and health insurance companies will be embraced?
  • What factors can ensure the development of a reliable and user-friendly eHealth programme?
  • How can a sound business practice and a smooth implementation be achieved?

Registration to this event is free-of-charge and it can be performed either via email or by phone at +31 10 461 53 49.
