Brainstorming session - The evolution from eGovernment to Web 2.0 and open innovationÂ
An event organised in the frame of exploratory research activities, this event will consist of a half-day of brainstorming on the theme of social networks in the context of eGovernment. Egovernment 2.0 is explicitly referred to in an expert group's report on the digital relationship between the Public Administration and public services users (which was transmitted to the responsible minister in February 2010) as an opportunity to improve the Administration-to-Citizen relationship and to develop new, innovative services.
The objective of the event is to confront the complementary viewpoints of experts and practitioners in an aim to collect empirical data on the prospects of evolution of eGovernment. The expected result is a set of recommendations on the stakes of open innovation in eGovernment, and the writing of a synthesis report which will be made public and serve as a starting point on this topic for researchers and public bodies. The provisional programme may be found at the event website. There will be an introduction in English to brain storming through thinklets.
The brainstorming session will be supported by an electronic tool. Anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in projects or activities related to the use or the development of eGovernment can apply, by filling in the preregistration form and return it to the event email indicated below, by 30 November 2010 at the latest.
