Description

European Society of Breast Imaging Congress (EUSOBI) 2010 - Annual Scientific Meeting

On the first day of the EUSOBI's Annual Scientific Meeting, well-known lecturers will present the latest developments on breast imaging and on the second day, parallel workshops will be held for EUSOBI participants. These workshops are organised to provide participants with an introduction to the most important issues in percutaneous imaging-guided biopsy of breast lesions under ultrasound and MRI guidance.

During practical sessions, participants will be instructed on how to perform breast biopsy on phantoms under ultrasound and MRI guidance. State-of-the-art equipment will be available, including different automated large core needles and/or directional vacuum-assisted biopsy probes, and sessions will be arranged to allow time for each participant to perform examinations under supervision. Participants will learn how to hit a lesion or, for the more experienced, how to improve their personal 'hit rate'.

Further information about the event can be found here.

Registration is open and can be performed online with the payment of a fee.
