Pre-Conference Workshop at ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN 2010 - 'The European Digital Education Agenda'

The focus of the pre-conference workshop will be on the European digital education market, which is still in an early development stage. Emerging new internet service platforms (such as social networks or workplace embedded cloud services), content distribution models, devices and massive bandwidth increases with new mobile (4G) and fixed line (Gigabit) networks offer a radically changed environment for digitizing education.

The workshop is composed by three interactive panels:

• Improving European Framework conditions for Digital Education;
• Digital Literacy and Skills;
• Policy meets the Digital Education Market.

Each panel will be composed of practitioners and policy experts. All topics will be discussed in close interaction with the workshop audience.
