MedTech Pharma 2010 - Innovations in Medicine

The congress 'MedTech Pharma 2010 - Medizin Innovativ' will focus on innovation in the healthcare industry. The on-going introduction of new technologies and strategies ensures international competitiveness, improves the success rate of medical treatments plus the increase in cost efficiency relieves the costs for the healthcare system. 

Cooperation within the industry is indispensable in all stages of innovation, from the idea to successful clinical testing to marketing. It is becoming increasingly important in these times of globalisation and regional clustering to make the right decisions in the choice of strategic partners. 

The congress as an interdisciplinary and trans-sectoral interaction platform aims to make an effective contribution to the future success of the medical field. The latest knowledge in future oriented theme related areas will be presented in the plenary lectures and delivered theme related at firsthand in two series, namely: 'Healthcare Electronics & IT' and 'Personalised Healthcare'. A large exhibition provides space for the presentation of innovative products and solutions. 

The BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) Symposium 'Medi-WING - Medical technology within the BMBF Framework Programme WING' runs parallel to both series and is integrated into the congress. The symposium focuses on the presentation of industry-led collaborative projects that are currently supported by the BMBF within the national funding programmes 'Bioactive Implants' and 'Molecular Imaging - MoBiTech'. Further, lectures on innovation barriers and market environment will be given.
