Description

eHealth Conference 2010 - 'Telematics brings added value'

The aim of the conference is to promote understanding, consensus and acceptance of how useful (value-added) applications of information and communication technology are in health systems. Organisations that sponsor the German health system will also be promoted in their effort to continuously improve quality, efficiency and acceptability of health care.

On the first day of the conference, there will be presentations from governments and the political arena in general, high-level discussions with representatives from academia, and industry, as well as for from the patients side. On the second day, four parallel thematic areas about value-added applications will be presented in order to examine different perspectives and offer further discussion. In addition, international case studies will be incorporated into the conference. Also, presentations will demonstrate how patient-and citizen-useful technology applications in different areas of life might contribute to the promotion and preservation of health.

The detailed conference programme can be viewed here.
