Description

e-Skills Week Conference - Opening event

The e-Skills Week Conference is the official opening of the European e-Skills Week and the opening event at CEBIT 2010. It will gather leading figures from European Institutions, governments, business and scientific community to discuss on the importance of e-Skills for the future.

The Deputy Director General of the Directorate General Enterprise and Industry, Ms. Françoise Le Bail, and other Senior European Public Officials will open the discussions. The first panel will address the current lack of e-Skills in Europe and its impact on Europe's competitiveness. The second panel will examine the measures that the industry and public bodies need to take in order to bridge the gap.

Registration is free-of-charge and can be performed online by filling in the respective form; registration is not mandatory, however, the registered participants will have priority entry to the event.
