8th Eastern European eGov Days - 'Changing Concepts & eGovernment as a Service'
The title of this annual event in 2010 is stressing the challenge of servicing citizens and understanding eGovernment as a Service. The discussions will include a wide range of topics, including Policy modeling, technologies and role of marketing in re-thinking eGovernment
The ideas and visions of the EU eGovernment Action Plan for 2015 will be presented. The reflections on the 5th Ministerial eGovernment conference and reactions on the last eGovernment Declaration are also expected in a range of sessions.
The annual Eastern European eGov Days has become an acknowledged platform for dialogue and knowledge transfer between Western and Eastern European countries. This event brings together over 200 professionals from the private and public sector in an exchange of experience and ideas and real life examples.
A select number of academic papers will be presented at the conference. Accepted papers will be published by OCG in the printed, ISSN/ISBN identified, Conference Proceedings and in an electronic format. The event organisers are looking for innovative papers on New aspects of Government Transformation and eService provision (Organisational, legal, technological, human, political, etc). A detailed list of the topics can be found here accompanied by more details on the important dates. The deadline for the closing of the call for papers has been extended to 20 January 2010.
