National eGovernment Day: Challenges and strategies for local government
eGovernment appears to be one of the pillars of local authorities' modernisation, as are the Forecast Management of Employment and Skills (Gestion Prévisionnelle des Emplois et Compétences-GPEC) and the adaptation of the concepts of the Organic Law relating to the Finance Laws (Loi Organique Relative aux Lois de Finances-LOLF).
The challenges for the general managers of departments are important. eGovernment will have an impact on tasks and on the relations within and between departments; it will inevitably lead to their reorganization and to rethinking the human resources management.
The event will break down into four conferences, namely:
During the National eGovernment Day, participants will furthermore have the opportunity to meet and discuss with the representatives of enterprises specialized in eGovernment affairs.
