International Conference, I-ESA CHINA 2009, Interoperability for Enterprise Software and Applications. Promoting collaboration of enterprises through interoperability, to link China and Europe, and the world.
I-ESA brings together the world’s leading researchers and practitioners in the area of enterprise interoperability. It is a unique forum for the exchange of visions, ideas, research results and industrial experiences, dealing with a wealth of interoperability research subjects for business, enterprise applications and software.
This series of conferences was Initiated in 2005 by two major European research projects of the 6th Framework R&D Programme of the European Commission, the ATHENA IP (Advanced Technologies for Interoperability of Heterogeneous Enterprise Networks and their Applications, Integrated Project) and the INTEROP NoE, (Interoperability Research for Networked Enterprise Applications and Software, Network of Excellence).
I-ESA China 2009 will feature a high-quality pre-conference programme on 20 April 2009, consisting of workshops and tutorials. During the main conference, there will be an attractive exhibits programme and an additional brokerage event, including a hands-on "industrial use case challenge". Conclusions and generalized discussion will wrap-up the event with the post-conference on 23 April 2009.
The call for papers for the event is open. Details about the submission of proposals for papers and workshops are available either via the I-ESA China 2009 portal or by contacting the I-ESA China 2009 General Chair (I-ESA@hit.edu.cn). The paper submission deadline is 12 December 2008.
The conference encourages submissions in (but not restricted to) the following topics: Business Interoperability; Enterprise Interoperability Roadmaps; Cross-organizational collaboration and cross-sectoral processes; Systems engineering in the context of Interoperability; Specification and Implementation; Architectures and Frameworks for Interoperability; Service Oriented Architectures for Interoperability; Enterprise Modelling for Enterprise Interoperability; Approaches and solutions for Model Driven Architectures and Interoperability; Design and Execution of Interoperable Services; Platforms for Enterprise Interoperability; Semantics for Enterprise Interoperability; Interoperability Scenarios and Case Study; Education on Enterprise Interoperability.
Participation is open to all and requires the payment of a general fee of €300 for the totality of the Conference (Lunch, Coffee Breaks, Proceedings, Dinner).
