Description

5QC – The citizen at the Heart of Public Quality

The Fifth Quality Conference for Public Administrations in the EU is organised by and on the occasion of the French Presidency of the EU under the theme “The Citizen at the Heart of Public Quality”. The focus of this event will be placed on the quality of public services in the EU.

The main theme of the conference breaks down into four sub-themes, as follows:

  • Improving citizens’ lives;
  • Citizen participation as a driving force towards public quality;
  • Taking into account new key social issues;
  • Beyond the citizen, involving all stake holders for quality.

There will be 8 to 10 plenary sessions aimed at giving participants content elements on the issues raised by the main theme “the Citizen at the Heart of Public Quality”. These plenary sessions are currently being defined.

Furthermore, the conference will feature several roundtables (“agoras”), as well as Best Practice workshops structured around the conference sub-themes. Best Practice cases from all over Europe will be presented.

Registration can be performed online and remains open until 10 October 2008. The registration fee is €650.
