Description

eProcurement within Public Administration – the Big Jump This Italian conference on eProcurement within Public Administration is organised by the Observatory on eProcurement within Public Administration - an entity of the Politecnico Management School of Milan (MIP). It will take place on 28 September 2007 in the premises of the MIP.

The aim of the event is to present the results of the study conducted by the Observatory in 2006 and 2007 on the spreading of eProcurement applications in the Italian public administration based on 150 case studies of public authorities, their suppliers and technological solutions providers.

The results of this study will be commented and discussed during the conference by pre-eminent representatives of: the Italian Association for Purchasing Management (ACADI); CONSIP - a company owned by the Ministry of Finance and that acts as an internal government consultancy for IT and eProcurement projects; the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The event will close with a comprehensive roundtable at which significant Italian public procurement actors will participate. A report containing the main findings of the study will be distributed for free to the participants at the end of the conference. Participation to the event is also free-of-charge but requires online pre-registration.
